Qualifications of Registered Provider, Manager and Staff
Dr. Mukesh Rajani, MBBS, MRCGP is the registered Provider and Managing director of Symonds House.
Andrew Stoner (Level 1), is the Registered Home Manager supported by Marian Ellis RN (Level 2) Deputy/Nursing Manager.
Rebecca Scott BTEC National Diploma in Social Care, NVQ assessor, is our assistant Manager who is responsible for co-ordinating the Residential Home.
Charlotte Humm AICB is our full time Administrator.
The 5 units within the home have a unit organiser who are supported by a further 40 care staff who are employed either full or part time working days or nights.
We have one full time cook, 3 kitchen assistants and 11 housekeeping staff. One full time handy man and a part time gardener.
Marian and Lynda share on-call responsibilities. The Nursing Home employs 6 Registered Nurses who provide a seamless service 24 hours a day.
Symonds House is committed to staff learning and development. Currently we have one NVQ level 3 qualified carer, one NVQ level 2 qualified carer plus 5 NVQ level 2 in training and 2 NVQ level3 in training.
